Coaches Positions – Season 2015

Submissions are invited from qualified & interested persons for the position of Coach for Hawkesbury Valley Rugby Club for the 2015 Season.

Positions of Coach &/or Assistant Coach for the team’s First to Fourth Grade.

Hawkesbury Valley Rugby Club operates from McQuade Oval Windsor and has training facilities at Deerubbin Rugby Complex located on Cornwallis Road Windsor.

Our Junior Club comprises teams from ages 6 to 18 and we currently have approximately 200 players registered.

Our Club also has a Masters, being an over 35 team, who play specially arranged games on a Friday Night and enter Tournaments, normally out of season.

The criteria for Coaching Positions are as follows:

1. Minimum qualifications of Foundation/Level 1Coach, including Smart Rugby

2. Successful applicants must be willing to undertake further courses, with a view to attaining Level 2 status.

3. Willingness to apply the principles of the Clubs’ Selection Policy Guidelines.

4. Willingness to support the disciplining of players, who, for whatever reason have placed themselves outside the Clubs’ guidelines or acceptable conduct requirements.

5. Ability & willingness to work cohesively with & support the entire Coaching Staff.

6. Ability to develop Training Sessions plans and to effectively conduct those sessions to a small group or the entire Player Group.

7. Ability to initiate Individual Player development plans.

8. Ability to formulate season progress reports for presentation to Club Committee.
